Young Hollywood prepares for its biggest teen party of the year! The celebrity-packed, (Un-Official) Rockin' Pre-Party for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards is set for August 5th at the exclusive Level 3 Lounge in Hollywood. The event is produced by T2PR and presented by Totally Texty™. Held at the prestigious Level 3 in Hollywood, the event is a pre-celebration bash for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards and official product launch of the Totally Texty Teen Haircare line. The star-studded event promises a fun-filled evening with 2 red carpet arrival areas, major press & media coverage, Live DJ, dancing, hor d'evoures, drinks, Red Bull mocktails, and a no host bar for those 21+. Celebrating 4th of July always conjures up images of fireworks. This year at Cupcakes & Company instead of fireworks, we saw stars. Stars such as: Sean "Diddy" Combs, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Lindsay Lohan, Lil Kim, Kevin Conolly, Chris Brown, Tom Green, Jonah Hill, Andy Samberg, Russell Brand, Tyrese, Amber Rose, Mel Brown, Khloe Kardashian and so many more. Where would such a group of celebrities be gathering you might wonder. Well, they were all present in a private residence up in Beverly Hills at the annual White Party. This year's ultra glamorous party was co-hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ashton Kutcher in support of the non-profit organization Malaria No More. Cupcakes & Company was hired on to provide delicious white cupcakes made especially with Sean "Diddy" Combs' line of Ciroc Vodka. The cupcakes were tray served among the hundreds of guests. After much experimenting, what I nicknamed, the "Diddy Cake" was created. Lemon Ciroc cupcakes are made with lemon cake, Ciroc lemon filling and then topped off with our light as air lemon buttercream.

We’ve also done a red carpet event for the American Cancer Society: An Evening for Hope in Beverly Hills. This project was completed on Saturday, April 26th, 2008. We had several obstacles to overcome, however we were able to surmount these challenges with our professionalism and dedication to excellence. With as little as two days notice, we prepared over 1,000 miniature cupcakes in three different flavors and styles. We were then required to plate our desserts for a sit-down dinner service for 300 guests. With limited work space and time, we achieved our goal efficiently and the result was a beautifully presented dessert pleasing to both the eyes and the palate. The attendance for the black tie gala included a VIP list of such celebrities and entertainers as: Mena Suvari, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ross McCall, Daisy Fuentes, Kelly Hu, Jermaine Jackson, Archie Kao and Won G.

We have also catered our delicious cupcakes for a fashion launch presented by Boosted for Claw Money Case Collection Release. The event was sponsored by Swindle Magazine, Skyy Vodka, Boosted and Cobrasnake. We successfully produced two styles of cupcakes and easily adapted our presentation for this specific event. Our cupcakes were gold wrapped topped with Red Vanilla Buttercream and adorned with hand made edible white fondant discs, with the company’s logo stamped then hand painted with edible black dye. The order size was quite large with 750 pieces made to order.

Our shop was featured in a segment for E! News Live, on the E Entertainment channel. Host Ben Lyon interviewed movie actress, Heather Graham about her new movie “Miss Conception”. As part of the interview, Ben Lyon and Heather Graham decorated cupcakes behind the counter and had a sit down discussion with our beautiful cupcakes on display behind them. The segment aired on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 7:30pm on "The Daily Ten". Producers of the show had given an on-air mention of our bakery by way of visual focus of our company logo/graphics and store front.
