Cupcakes on the way to Star Trek
Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:23AM
I went to see Star Trek yesterday with Angela. Before we got in line we went to Cupcakes & Co in Burbank. I had a lemon cupcake and it was amazing. I love lemon anything and this was just wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by and picking a few up.
After our cupcake pit-stop we made our way to the AMC and got in line to see the 7:30 showing of Star Trek in IMAX. We wound up being the first people in line. I’ve never been the first person in line so it was strange that there weren’t other people there. About five minutes later the line started to wrap around the building so I think we lucked out. The movie was really good, I think the casting was very well done. I’m looking forward to more Star Trek movies from J.J. Abrams. I’m reviewing Star Trek today on Lifestyle Buzz over at LATalkRadio.com so make sure you check it out at 3 p.m. (PT).
Mention at The Lyons Den
Our shop was featured in a segment for E! News Live, on the E Entertainment channel. Host Ben Lyons interviewed movie actress, Heather Graham about her new movie “Miss Conception”. As part of the interview, Ben Lyons and Heather Graham decorated cupcakes behind the counter and had a sit down discussion with our beautiful cupcakes on display behind them. The segment aired on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 7:30pm on “The Daily Ten”. Producers of the show had given an on-air mention of our bakery by way of visual focus of our company logo/graphics and store front.
